Editorial Policy
How guides and calculator explanations are researched, reviewed, corrected, and kept separate from advertising.

Research and sources
Content is written to answer a specific calculator or business-decision question. When a claim depends on an external definition, platform metric, regulation, or changing rule, primary sources such as government agencies and official platform documentation are preferred.
Sources must support the statement beside them. Large passages are not copied, and a citation is not used as decoration for an unrelated claim.
Writing and review
Worked examples are calculated from stated inputs, and formulas are checked against the implementation. AI-assisted drafting may be used for organization or language, but published material must be checked against the formula, visible page, and cited source. AI output is not treated as evidence.
No page is presented as reviewed by an accountant, lawyer, financial adviser, or other credentialed professional unless a real reviewer and their relevant qualification are supplied and verified.
Updates and corrections
Review dates reflect genuine material work rather than automatic freshness. Corrections should identify the affected formula or statement, update related tests or examples, and be checked across linked pages.
Readers can report calculation, accessibility, privacy, or factual issues through the Contact page.
Commercial independence
Advertising may support the site in the future, but advertisers do not determine formulas, results, rankings, recommendations, or editorial conclusions. Ads are not currently enabled. Any future sponsored or affiliate relationship must be labelled clearly.
